Additionally, the role involves supporting supply chain management to ensure efficient oversight and prevent supply disruptions. The incumbent will contribute to improving internal processes, strengthening institutional systems, and designing tools to facilitate overall planning, expenditure forecasting, and budget management. Responsibilities also include entering budget plan information into institutional systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry, and maintaining communication with stakeholders regarding project fund management. The role requires providing guidance to support staff and contributing to their professional development in budget planning and fund management. Furthermore, the incumbent will follow standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure WFP's readiness to respond quickly to crises.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of internal controls and compliance, with knowledge of risk management approaches to closely monitor projects and programs. Proficiency in budget analysis and reporting is essential, as well as the ability to analyze budgets and forecasts to support senior management in financial planning. The role requires a solid understanding of resource management and the ability to anticipate potential issues related to staffing and resource utilization. Familiarity with WFP's performance management system is also necessary to gather relevant information for monitoring and evaluation processes. Educational Background:
A completed higher education degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Project Planning and Management, or related fields associated with financial and programmatic management is required for this position. Experience:
Candidates should have at least six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, execution, and monitoring. This experience should include knowledge of budget tracking, resource planning, and supply chain management within budgetary systems. Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or projects funded by international cooperation, including UN agencies, is highly desirable. This level of experience ensures that the candidate is well-equipped to handle the complexities of financial management in a humanitarian context.

Languages:
Fluency in English (C level) is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's ability to communicate effectively within the diverse WFP environment.
