Job Overview:
The position of Voluntario(a) en Línea at UNFPA Colombia involves supporting the Human Resources department in the monthly tracking of social security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security obligations for staff and managing documentation related to certifications. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing the well-being of UNFPA personnel in Colombia. The volunteer will be responsible for maintaining clear and consistent documentation that is ready for audits and responding promptly to certification requests. The position requires a proactive approach to managing HR processes and ensuring timely follow-up on social security obligations, which are fundamental to transparent and responsible human resource management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review monthly payment supports for social security submitted by employees.
  • Update the social security tracking matrix with the status of each individual.
  • Prepare a monthly report of findings and pending items for the Human Resources department.
  • Generate requested labor certifications weekly using institutional templates.
  • Analyze historical files from different years and create a matrix for generating labor certifications. The measurable outcomes include monthly social security matrices accompanied by a monthly tracking report, weekly issuance of labor certifications within the established timeframe, and delivery of a final matrix for the automation of labor certifications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for maintaining tracking matrices and generating reports. Familiarity with social security regulations and HR processes is advantageous. The ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms is crucial, as the role involves preparing reports and certifications for staff.

Educational Background:
A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of HR practices and social security obligations, which will aid in the execution of the role's responsibilities.

Experience:
While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not mandatory. However, candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the HR processes at UNFPA. Experience in volunteer roles or internships related to human resources or administrative support will be considered an asset.

Languages:
