Job Overview:
The Communications Officer (Digital & Multimedia) will play a vital role in the Communications section of UNICEF, which provides support across all programmatic areas in advocacy, branding, media, and social media outreach. This position is essential for mobilizing political will and public awareness to prioritize the rights of children and women in policies and programs. The officer will work closely with the Digital Communication Officer and the entire Communications team to plan, produce, and publish digital communication products that align with UNICEF's Pacific, regional, and global priorities. The role involves engaging with youth, creating multimedia content, and utilizing digital analytics to enhance UNICEF's online presence and effectiveness in advocacy efforts. The officer will also contribute to the overall mission of UNICEF by ensuring that children's voices are amplified through various digital channels and that their concerns are addressed in decision-making processes.
