Job Overview:
The Nurse position at MSF involves coordinating and planning clinical work, focusing primarily on basic healthcare activities. The role may extend to participating in vaccination campaigns, managing feeding centers, handling outbreak responses, and engaging in outreach activities. Nurses may work in various settings, including rural health centers, mobile clinics, local healthcare structures, refugee camps, and urban environments. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan clinical work, focusing on basic healthcare activities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Full and current registration as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification work experience in areas such as emergency rooms, pediatrics, neonatology, infectious diseases, nutrition, obstetrics, operating room, HIV/AIDS, public health, and intensive care.
  • At least six months of clinical experience within the last two years.
  • Experience in managing staff within a multicultural team, including supervision and training.
  • Fluency in English and French, with a minimum level of B2 in both languages.
  • Relevant travel or work experience in contexts similar to MSF's operational environments, such as armed conflicts or public health emergencies.
  • Availability to work for six to nine months.

Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a valid nursing license as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner. This qualification is essential for the role, ensuring that the nurse is legally permitted to practice and provide medical care in the relevant settings.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant post-qualification work experience, with at least six months of clinical experience within the last two years. Experience in emergency rooms, pediatrics, and other specified areas is highly valued, as is experience in managing a multicultural team.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, with a minimum level of B2 in both languages. Additional languages such as Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese are considered assets but are not required for the position.
