Job Overview:
The National Consultant of Innovation and Inclusive Growth will play a crucial role in supporting the UNDP's mission in Vietnam. This position is designed for an individual contractor who will be responsible for providing expert advice and innovative solutions to promote inclusive growth in the country. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector, to identify and implement strategies that foster innovation and inclusivity in economic growth. The consultant is expected to analyze current policies, assess their impact on marginalized communities, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance inclusive growth initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the socio-economic landscape of Vietnam and the ability to engage with diverse groups to drive collaborative efforts towards sustainable development.

The required qualifications for this position include:
Educational Background:
Candidates should possess at least a Master's degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, or a related field. A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications in project management or development studies will be considered an asset.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in development consulting, policy analysis, or related fields. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in the context of UNDP projects, is highly desirable. Familiarity with innovation ecosystems and inclusive growth strategies will be an advantage.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Vietnamese is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with local stakeholders. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.

- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of proposed strategies, ensuring alignment with UNDP's objectives.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to UNDP and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other consultants and experts to enhance the overall impact of the project.
