Job Overview:
This position involves the hiring of an Individual Consultant for the development and deployment of AI-Enabled TFGBV (Technology for Gender-Based Violence) Complaint Support and Institutional Coordination Systems specifically for the Ministry of Human Rights in Pakistan. The consultant will be responsible for creating a system that leverages artificial intelligence to enhance the reporting and management of complaints related to gender-based violence. The role requires a deep understanding of both technology and the social issues surrounding gender-based violence, as well as the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders within the government and civil society. The consultant will work closely with the Ministry to ensure that the system meets the needs of users and is integrated into existing frameworks for handling complaints.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in information technology, particularly in systems development and artificial intelligence. They should have experience in project management and a proven track record of working on similar projects, especially in the context of gender-based violence or social justice. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to gender equality and human rights.
Educational Background:
A minimum of a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Social Sciences, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in project management or specialized training in AI technologies will be considered an asset.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the development and deployment of technology solutions, particularly in the context of social issues. Experience working with governmental or non-governmental organizations on projects related to gender-based violence or human rights is highly desirable. Familiarity with the legal and policy frameworks surrounding gender-based violence in Pakistan will be an advantage.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Urdu or other local languages is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with local stakeholders and users of the system.
Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this position is set for a total of 88 working days spread over 5 months, commencing from the date of signing the contract. This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility in work location. The consultant will be required to submit proposals directly through the UNDP supplier portal by the specified deadline. The position is categorized as an individual contractor role, and candidates should be prepared to provide evidence of their qualifications and experience as part of the application process.
