Job Overview:
The position involves providing technical support to the team in activities related to the psychometric validation of the COPSOQ-ISTAS21 version 2 for Bolivia. The volunteer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the adaptation process is scientifically sound and culturally relevant. This includes advising on psychometric methodology, assisting in the planning of statistical validation processes, and ensuring the quality of the database prior to analysis. The volunteer will also engage in reliability analysis of the instrument, support construct validity analyses using appropriate techniques, and participate in interpreting psychometric results. The overall goal is to contribute to the development of a reliable tool that can effectively assess psychosocial risks in the workplace in Bolivia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The volunteer will have several key responsibilities, including:

• Providing technical advice on psychometric methodology.
• Supporting the planning of the statistical validation process.
• Reviewing the quality of the database before analyses are conducted.
• Collaborating in the reliability analysis of the instrument, focusing on aspects such as internal consistency.
• Assisting in construct validity analyses using techniques like exploratory and/or confirmatory factor analysis, depending on the study design.
• Participating in the interpretation of psychometric results.
• Formulating recommendations to strengthen the methodological aspects of the validation process.
• Contributing to the preparation of the technical report related to the psychometric analysis.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong background in psychometrics and statistical analysis. They should have experience in conducting psychometric evaluations and be familiar with methodologies used in the validation of assessment tools. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team and possess strong analytical skills.

Educational Background:
A degree in psychology, statistics, or a related field is required. Advanced studies or certifications in psychometrics or statistical analysis would be advantageous. Candidates should have a solid understanding of research methodologies and statistical software used for data analysis.

Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience in psychometric validation processes, ideally with a focus on workplace assessments or similar tools.
