Job Overview:
In this role, you will work under the supervision of the International Accounting Manager, focusing on supporting the analysis and justification of donor receivables, intercompany flows, and the accounting practices of our intervention countries. Your responsibilities will include implementing legal accounting processes and ACF-defined procedures for the cycles under your direct responsibility, as well as occasionally for other cycles. You will manage the cycles within your scope, conducting regular analyses, semi-annual reviews, and justifications to auditors and statutory auditors. Additionally, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of the service by optimizing our tools and procedures and supporting other activities. You will ensure accurate accounting tracking of international funding and grants from institutional and private donors, guaranteeing the reliability of accounting operations related to funding, monitoring receivables, and proper allocation of receipts. Participation in accounting closures, particularly in the re-evaluation of foreign currencies and accounting for exchange rate differences, will also be part of your duties. You will perform accounting and bank reconciliations, produce necessary financial reports for funding tracking, and assist in preparing internal and external audits. Furthermore, you will support the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and tools in collaboration with financial and operational teams.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a degree in Finance, specifically a BTS in Accounting Management, and possess at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, particularly in client accounting and monitoring multi-donor funding. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and experience with ERP systems are essential. A high level of Excel proficiency is also required. Familiarity with currency operations is a valued asset, as is experience in the non-profit sector. Candidates should be recognized for their organizational skills, rigor, and diplomacy.
Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Finance, specifically a BTS in Accounting Management, which provides foundational knowledge and skills necessary for the role. This educational background is crucial for understanding complex accounting principles and practices relevant to the position.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role is required. This experience should include work in client accounting and the management of multi-donor funding, demonstrating the candidate's ability to handle the complexities of international accounting and financial reporting.
Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory due to the international nature of the work environment. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.
Additional Notes:
The position is classified as a Cadre Intégré, Class 7, with a fixed-term contract of 4 months and a full-time schedule. The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from 37,000 to 44,000 euros gross annually, depending on experience, with a seniority bonus applicable after 3 years of service at the headquarters for permanent positions. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 21 days of RTT. Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed, and meal vouchers are provided with a 60% contribution from the organization. The organization supports teleworking, allowing employees to work remotely from metropolitan territory, with a requirement for one day per week at the headquarters and attendance at collective meetings and events as needed.
