Job Overview:
In this role, under the supervision of the International Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis and justification of donor receivables, intercompany flows, and the accounting for our countries of intervention. Your responsibilities will include implementing legal accounting processes and ACF-defined procedures for the cycles under your direct responsibility, as well as occasionally for other cycles. You will ensure the management of cycles within your scope, which involves regular analysis, semi-annual reviews, and justifications to auditors and statutory auditors. Additionally, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the service by optimizing our tools and procedures and supporting other activities. You will also be responsible for the accounting follow-up of international funding and grants provided by institutional and private donors, ensuring the reliability of accounting operations related to funding, monitoring receivables, and proper allocation of receipts. Participation in accounting closures, particularly in the re-evaluation of foreign currencies and accounting for exchange rate differences, will also be part of your duties. You will perform accounting and bank reconciliations, produce necessary financial reports for funding monitoring, and contribute to the preparation of internal and external audits. Furthermore, you will assist in the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and tools in collaboration with financial and operational teams.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:
  • A degree in Finance, specifically a BTS in Accounting Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, particularly in client accounting and monitoring multi-donor funding.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with foreign currency operations is a plus, as well as experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Recognized organizational skills, rigor, and diplomacy.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a degree in Finance, specifically a BTS in Accounting Management or an equivalent qualification that provides a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar accounting role, with a focus on client accounting and the management of multi-donor funding. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting processes and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position due to the international nature of the work. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not explicitly required.

Additional Notes:
This position is classified as a managerial role (Cadre Intégré, Classe 7) and is offered as a fixed-term contract (CDD) for 4 months on a full-time basis. The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from €37,000 to €44,000 gross annually, depending on experience, with a seniority bonus applicable after 3 years of service at the headquarters for permanent positions. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed (50% of the commuting fare), and meal vouchers are provided with a 60% contribution from the organization. Social benefits include gift vouchers and reimbursement for cultural activities. Remote work is permitted for all employees within metropolitan territory, with a requirement for at least one day per week at the headquarters and mandatory attendance for collective meetings and events (up to 3 days per month).
