Job Overview:
In this role, you will be part of a significant and cross-cutting project led by the SMSP and MEAL teams, directly contributing to the improvement of the standards, tools, and practices used by field and headquarters teams. Your missions will include analyzing SMSP activities and data collection practices, conducting comparative analyses of SMSP activities and data collection systems used in different regions, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and opportunities for harmonization. You will also contribute to enhancing data management practices, structuring the SMSP activity bank, and developing Bill of Quantities (BoQ) related to priority activities. Additionally, you will formalize the links between activities, indicators, data collection tools, and program frameworks, revise the indicator framework, and harmonize monitoring tools. Your role will also involve preparing and facilitating SMSP-MEAL workshops, producing materials, summaries, and capitalization documents, and coordinating with various stakeholders to promote the adoption of new standards and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze SMSP activities and data collection practices to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct comparative analyses of SMSP activities and data collection systems across different regions.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and opportunities for harmonization in data collection practices.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data management practices and the structuring of the SMSP activity bank.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for priority activities.
• Formalize connections between activities, indicators, data collection tools, and program frameworks.
• Revise and update the SMSP indicator guide and harmonize monitoring tools.
• Contribute to improving data governance and aligning data collection tools (Kobo, Epi Info, DHIS2, Excel).
• Prepare and facilitate SMSP-MEAL workshops and produce relevant materials and documentation. 1
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the adoption of new standards and tools.

Required Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment and possesses the following qualities: You are a Master's student in humanitarian action, international public health, international development, applied social sciences, or a related field. You have a strong interest in issues related to program quality and intervention monitoring. Ideally, you have knowledge or sensitivity to mental health and psychosocial support (SMSP) themes. You possess excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills in both French and English. You are comfortable with Excel and/or Google Sheets and understand the principles of monitoring and evaluation and data collection. Ideally, you are familiar with Kobo or other data collection tools. You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders in an international environment, partly remotely.

Educational Background:
Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's program related to humanitarian action, international public health, international development, applied social sciences, or a similar field. A strong academic background in these areas is essential to understand the complexities of the role and the organization's mission.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have relevant experience in humanitarian action, public health, or related fields, preferably through internships or academic projects. Familiarity with data collection and analysis, as well as experience in working with diverse teams in international settings, is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is also required. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication within the international team and with stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
The internship is mandatory and requires a convention de stage issued by a French educational institution. The duration of the internship is 6 months, based in Montreuil at 102 rue de Paris. The desired start date is September 7, 202

• The internship is compensated at a rate of 4.57 euros net per hour, based on a 35-hour work week. The weekly working time is 38.75 hours. Meal vouchers worth 8 euros are provided, with 60% covered by ACF. Additionally, 50% of public transport costs will be reimbursed. ACF has a telework policy that allows for some remote work, while regular presence at the Montreuil headquarters is expected, with approximately three days per month dedicated to meetings and collective events.
