Job Overview:
The position of Referent*in (d/w/m) Beruf & Orientierung is crucial for the IRC's project 'PRIMA-Lab', which aims to assist individuals with refugee and migration backgrounds, particularly those with visible and invisible disabilities, in integrating into the labor market. The role involves planning and conducting workshops to enhance psychosocial, social, and practical skills of participants, as well as developing training and awareness programs for professionals, employers, partner organizations, and migrant interest groups. The successful candidate will also be responsible for individual counseling, coaching, and social pedagogical support, focusing on labor market integration and career orientation. This position requires a proactive approach to building networks with employers, migrant communities, and relevant stakeholders to promote inclusive employment opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Referent*in include:

• Planning and conducting workshops aimed at enhancing psychosocial, social, and practical competencies of participants.
• Developing and implementing training, informational, and awareness-raising formats for professionals, employers, partner organizations, and migrant interest groups.
• Collaborating in the creation of accessible, language-sensitive learning, qualification, and empowerment offerings for individuals with refugee backgrounds and disabilities, delivered in various formats including digital, in-person, and self-learning.
• Engaging in participant recruitment, providing individual counseling, coaching, and social pedagogical support with a focus on labor market integration and strengths-oriented competency analysis.
• Supporting transitions into training and employment through internships, company visits, job shadowing, and establishing accessible pathways to support and funding opportunities.
• Building, maintaining, and networking with employers, migrant communities, project partners, and other relevant actors to enhance inclusive employment and participation opportunities.
• Coordinating program activities and contributing to evaluations, impact analyses, and the further development of inclusive concepts and frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a completed degree or comparable qualification in fields such as pedagogy, social pedagogy, adult education, social work, or psychology. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience in counseling and supporting job seekers, particularly in the labor market integration of individuals with migration backgrounds and/or those with visible or invisible disabilities, is required. Experience in leading training courses and workshops is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the local labor market, labor law regulations (e.g., SGB II), application processes, and recruiting methods. Knowledge of specialized language materials (IFSL materials) is advantageous. A pre-existing network with relevant stakeholders in the inclusion/migration sector and volunteers is also beneficial. Strong teamwork, organizational skills, and a willingness to collaborate and network are essential attributes for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a completed degree or equivalent qualification in relevant fields such as pedagogy, social pedagogy, adult education, social work, or psychology. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the complexities of the labor market and the specific needs of individuals with migration experiences and disabilities.

Experience:
The position requires at least two years of relevant experience in counseling and supporting job seekers, particularly focusing on the integration of individuals with migration backgrounds and those with disabilities. This experience should include leading training sessions and workshops, as well as a deep understanding of the local labor market and related legal frameworks.

Languages:
Fluency in German at C1 level and English at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is mandatory. Additional language skills in languages spoken by the target group, such as Ukrainian, Arabic, Dari, etc., are considered advantageous and will enhance the candidate's profile.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time role (40 hours per week) and is initially limited until December 31, 2028, with the possibility of extension depending on funding approval. The starting salary is €42,706 gross per year, with annual salary adjustments.
