Job Overview:
The position of Events and Visibility Analyst is a consultancy role aimed at enhancing the visibility of UNDP's initiatives in Pakistan. The consultant will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that promote UNDP's work and engage stakeholders effectively. This role requires a strategic approach to visibility, ensuring that events align with UNDP's mission and objectives. The consultant will work closely with various teams within UNDP to develop communication strategies that highlight the impact of projects and foster partnerships. The position is expected to last for 105 working days over a period of 5 months, during which the consultant will be expected to deliver high-quality outputs that meet the organization's standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, event management, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset.
Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in event management, communications, or public relations is required. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is highly desirable. Familiarity with UNDP's mission and operations will be considered an advantage.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Urdu or other local languages is considered an asset and may enhance communication with local stakeholders.
Additional Notes:
This consultancy is open to Pakistan Nationals only. The contract duration is for 105 working days spread over 5 months. The position is part-time, and the consultant will be expected to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and in line with UNDP's policies. The consultant will be required to submit technical and financial proposals as part of the application process.

- Ensure compliance with UNDP's policies and procedures throughout the event planning process.
- Provide support in the development of partnerships and collaborations that enhance UNDP's visibility.
- Stay updated on best practices in event management and visibility strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management and visibility strategies, preferably in an international development context.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of events and make data-driven recommendations.
