Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer Translator involves translating a 3-page document from Chinese to English. This task is part of WHO Mauritania's initiative to strengthen relations with the Chinese government. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate a 3-page document from Chinese to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the translation.
• Collaborate with the WHO Mauritania Team to understand the context and purpose of the document.
• Review and edit the translated document to ensure it meets WHO's standards for quality and consistency.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the translation process.
• Participate in virtual meetings with the WHO team to discuss the translation and its implications for health initiatives in Mauritania.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the translation process.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both languages.
• Previous experience in translation, particularly in health-related topics, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Educational Background:
