Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Fundraising Operations, is a pivotal role within the IRC's Global Donations Operations team. This position is designed for a fundraising operations professional who possesses a strong background in establishing comprehensive donation processes and mapping business requirements with technology setups. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting stakeholder goals and strategies, engaging closely with the CRM team responsible for managing the technical aspects of gift processing. The role requires a proven ability to monitor and enhance the quality of donor and payment data across various platforms. The Fundraising Operations Analyst will focus on driving efficiencies within the team and prioritizing strategic projects that align with the organization's mission. This position is essential for ensuring that the IRC can effectively manage its fundraising operations and maintain high standards of data integrity and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Senior Analyst include guiding discovery activities for gift processing projects and new donation system setups, maintaining comprehensive business knowledge related to gift processing through payment platforms and gateways utilized across IRC's global markets, and ensuring up-to-date documentation. The analyst will serve as an escalation point for the Global Donations Operations team, assisting with troubleshooting data inconsistencies arising from data entry, integrations, and payment transfers. Identifying and resolving the root causes of inaccurate data, recommending process improvements, and adjusting workflows as necessary are critical components of this role. Additionally, the analyst will support data quality projects and implement required updates to business processes. Building out a project management system for the global GDO team and leading project coordination efforts will also be part of the responsibilities. The analyst will create and maintain Salesforce reports to monitor data accuracy, consistency, and completeness, facilitating the identification and resolution of data issues in collaboration with the technical team. Developing best practice guidelines for data quality and providing user training to ensure adherence to these practices across markets is also expected.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a financial, technical, or relevant field. A broad knowledge of fundraising databases, data integrity, payment gateway systems, and processing workflows is essential. Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, including building reporting frameworks and dashboards, is required. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills are necessary, along with advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools. Experience with SQL databases is a plus. Candidates should exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex issues. Being organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
