Job Overview:
The position of ICT Specialist at UN Women Indonesia is crucial for the effective implementation of the organization's programs. The consultant will provide essential Information and Communication Technology (ICT) support services to the UN Women Indonesia Country Office. This role involves ensuring that all ICT systems are operational and compliant with UN Women policies. The consultant will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the Finance Support team for contract and payment issues. The consultant is expected to provide monthly IT activity reports and undertake various responsibilities related to ICT support, including maintaining servers, ensuring internet connectivity, and providing technical assistance for software and hardware issues. The role also includes supporting the procurement of ICT equipment and delivering technical support for events organized by the Country Office.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer sciences, engineering, or related fields being an asset. A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible work experience in ICT support is required, along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, networking, and hardware/software maintenance. Experience in providing ICT support for multinational or international organizations, particularly within UN agencies, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively engage with various stakeholders.
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes the completion of secondary education as a minimum requirement. A Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer sciences, engineering, or any related field is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience:
The position requires at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in ICT support. Candidates should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, networking, and maintaining hardware and software systems. Experience in providing ICT support services for multinational organizations or international organizations is advantageous, particularly if it includes work with UN agencies. The ability to work independently as the sole IT focal point in a Country Office or department with minimal supervision is also essential.
Languages:
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.

This consultancy is office-based with hybrid arrangements, requiring the consultant to work 3 days a week (24 hours per week), with at least 2 days at the UN Women Indonesia Office and 1 day working from home.
