Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Administrative and Finance Assistant include ensuring the smooth functioning of project administration and office management. The incumbent will be responsible for making travel and hotel reservations, coordinating visa and residency requirements, and organizing special meetings and workshops. The Senior Administrative and Finance Assistant will also be expected to keep abreast of changes in administrative policies and provide training to staff as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have completed secondary school education with training in accounting or finance. Post-secondary technical or vocational qualifications, or university-level coursework in business administration or related fields, are strongly desirable. The position requires at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance, including senior-level support services. Experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is essential, and additional experience within the United Nations or similar organizations is highly advantageous. Candidates should also have demonstrated experience in general administration, procurement, and human resources administration, as well as sound knowledge of Saudi administrative procedures.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes completion of secondary school education, with a strong preference for candidates who have pursued post-secondary technical or vocational qualifications or university-level coursework in business administration, general administration, or office support. Experience working with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is mandatory. Candidates with eight or more years of relevant experience, particularly within the United Nations or international organizations, will be viewed favorably. Languages: Excellent command of both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is required for this position. Additional Notes: The position is a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of extension based on various factors such as funding availability and performance. The entry-level salary for this position is 272,245 SAR yearly. Candidates must possess a valid Saudi ID or work permit to reside and work in Saudi Arabia.
