Job Overview:
The FAO Project Team Coordinator will be responsible for the effective and timely implementation of project activities at the provincial level, particularly focusing on climate-resilient agriculture and risk-informed approaches. This role involves managing daily operations, coordinating interventions, and resolving operational challenges. The Project Team Coordinator will provide technical support to ensure that project activities align with the goals of transforming agrifood systems. The position requires collaboration with local government units, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote inclusive participation and capacity building. The coordinator will also oversee planning, monitoring, reporting, and adaptive management to ensure the project's success and sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Team Coordinator will lead the overall implementation of the Transformative Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project, providing supervision and technical guidance to project personnel. Key responsibilities include: preparing and updating the project workplan and budget, overseeing beneficiary targeting and database management, supervising procurement planning, and ensuring timely delivery of project inputs. The coordinator will also manage cash assistance activities, provide strategic guidance on climate-resilient agriculture, monitor project implementation, and prepare regular technical reports. Establishing effective coordination with stakeholders, facilitating training and knowledge-sharing activities, and ensuring the integration of Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles are also critical aspects of the role. The coordinator will contribute to project communication and visibility, and perform other related duties as assigned by FAO Management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Community Development/Organizing, or other Sustainable Development related studies. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in agriculture/rural development sectors, program management, and coordination with government structures, NGOs, and UN agencies is required. Full proficiency in English is mandatory, and candidates must be nationals of the Philippines. FAO core competencies such as results focus, teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing are essential for this role.

Educational Background:
The position requires an advanced university degree in fields related to agriculture, rural development, community development, or sustainable development. Candidates must have their qualifications recognized by institutions accredited in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in agriculture or rural development sectors, including program management and implementation, capacity building, and coordination with national and regional government structures, NGOs, and private sector entities. Experience working with UN agencies is also beneficial.

Languages:
Full proficiency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Filipino is also required, and knowledge of relevant local dialects is considered an advantage.
