The Online Volunteer will be responsible for several key tasks, including: conducting a desk review of literature and policy documents related to local finance and education financing in Thailand; mapping key financing models and mechanisms used by local governments; identifying and compiling quantitative and qualitative data from publicly available sources; developing a structured inventory/database of financing mechanisms, detailing their characteristics and eligibility requirements; assessing how these financing mechanisms can support education development priorities; analyzing trends, opportunities, gaps, and challenges in local financing; identifying promising practices and innovative approaches for localized development; and preparing a concise analytical report summarizing findings and recommendations.
