Job Overview:
The Senior Manager for Women’s Protection and Empowerment (WPE) is tasked with providing senior-level operational leadership and technical oversight for all WPE programming in South Kordofan. This field-based position is crucial for overseeing the direct implementation of programs, supervising WPE teams, ensuring compliance with IRC and global GBV standards, and coordinating with various sectors such as health and economic recovery. The role is vital in maintaining South Kordofan as a strategic operational hub and ensuring the readiness to scale up WPE services in a highly volatile emergency context. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:

• Program Leadership and Oversight: Provide overall leadership for WPE programming, ensuring safe, survivor-centered, and contextually appropriate service delivery. Ensure high-quality implementation of GBV case management, psychosocial-support" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">psychosocial support (PSS), referrals, and emergency response services, with a strong focus on conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV).
• Quality Assurance & Information Management: Ensure adherence to global GBV standards and IRC policies, overseeing the ethical use of GBVIMS for data quality and trend analysis.
• Staff Supervision & Capacity Building: Directly supervise WPE Officers, Case Workers, and Outreach Workers, promoting a supportive team culture and leading recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
• Coordination & Representation: Represent IRC in inter-agency coordination mechanisms, maintaining relationships with health partners, local authorities, and UN agencies.
• Grant Management & Reporting: Oversee WPE grants, ensuring alignment with work plans and budgets, and contribute to donor reporting.
• Program Development & Scale-Up Readiness: Support proposal development and identify emerging needs for service expansion.
• Partnerships: Manage partnerships with local NGOs, ensuring coordinated GBV programming.
• Safety, Security & Duty of Care: Monitor safety risks affecting WPE teams and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support IRC’s emergency response objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in public health, social sciences, gender studies, international development, or a related field. They should have at least 3-5 years of experience in GBV/VAWG programming, particularly in emergency and conflict settings. Demonstrated experience in managing field-based teams and direct implementation in insecure environments is essential. Strong technical expertise in GBV case management, CRSV response, and survivor-centered programming is required, along with experience in grant implementation and donor compliance. Candidates should also exhibit strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills, and the ability to work under pressure in volatile contexts.

Educational Background:
A Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields such as public health, social sciences, gender studies, or international development is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of GBV programming and the necessary interventions to support affected populations.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in GBV/VAWG programming, with a strong emphasis on emergency and conflict settings. Languages:
