Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Operations Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: conducting system and hardware maintenance to ensure technology operates effectively; monitoring technology reliability and identifying user needs; analyzing data and producing reports to recommend IT solutions; resolving standard IT queries independently and providing accurate information to staff; delivering standard technical training to end users on commonly used technology and systems; guiding and training junior colleagues in IT support services; coordinating the implementation of new applications; drafting standard materials such as end-user and technical documentation; implementing improvements to methods and processes within the IT division; coordinating the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems; managing a team of IT staff to meet individual and team objectives; and following emergency response processes to support food assistance needs.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the IT Operations Associate position must possess a completion of secondary school education, with a post-secondary certificate in IT or a related functional area being desirable. Additionally, candidates should have six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in a related business stream, demonstrating solid experience in digital solutions and data management. Desirable qualifications include experience in analyzing service management results, participating in business process re-engineering efforts, and involvement in the country office procurement and budgeting process.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Information Technology or a related functional area is considered desirable, as it provides foundational knowledge and skills necessary for the role.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of six years of progressively responsible work experience in a related field. This experience should include solid exposure to digital solutions and data management, which are critical for the effective performance of the job. Candidates should also have experience in analyzing service management results and making recommendations for service enhancements, as well as participating in business process re-engineering efforts.

Languages:
