Job Overview: The Architectural Engineering Technician - Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and conceptualizing architectural solutions. This position involves ensuring the technical quality of architectural, urban, and design products developed by external contractors and consultants. The technician will verify that these products align with contractual scopes, design guidelines, preliminary studies, functional requirements, applicable regulations, sustainability criteria, and UNOPS quality standards. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of architectural engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze architectural designs and solutions to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
Collaborate with external contractors and consultants to review and assess their architectural outputs.
Verify compliance with contractual agreements, design guidelines, and functional requirements.
Conduct preliminary studies to inform design decisions and ensure feasibility.
Ensure that all architectural products adhere to applicable regulations and sustainability criteria.
Maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
Prepare technical reports and documentation related to architectural assessments and analyses.

Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position is based in Costa Rica.
