The Architectural Engineering Technician - Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and conceptualizing architectural solutions. This position involves ensuring the technical quality of architectural, urban, and design products developed by external contractors and consultants. The technician will verify that these products align with contractual scopes, design guidelines, preliminary studies, functional requirements, applicable regulations, sustainability criteria, and UNOPS quality standards. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of architectural engineering.

Candidates must possess a strong understanding of architectural principles and practices, with a focus on sustainability and quality assurance. Proficiency in architectural design software and tools is essential. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required to assess compliance with standards and regulations. Excellent communication skills are necessary for collaboration with team members and external partners. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of architectural engineering.
Educational Background:
A degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in project management or sustainability practices are advantageous. Candidates with a strong academic background and relevant coursework in architectural design and engineering principles will be preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural engineering or a related field is required. Experience working with international organizations or on large-scale projects is highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position is based in Costa Rica. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with international teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus and may enhance collaboration in diverse project environments.
