Job Overview: The position of Asociada/o de Diversidad e Inclusión is crucial within the UNOPS Panama Country Office. The primary function of this role is to ensure that the principles of Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion (GESI) are embedded in all projects undertaken by the office. This includes integrating strategies that prevent sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEAH) into the organizational culture and project frameworks. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Asociada/o de Diversidad e Inclusión include but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing GESI strategies for all projects, ensuring alignment with UNOPS policies and guidelines.
Conducting assessments to identify barriers to inclusion and recommending actionable solutions.
Providing training and capacity-building sessions for project staff on GESI principles and practices.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of GESI initiatives within projects, reporting findings to management.
Collaborating with external partners to promote diversity and inclusion in project implementation.
Ensuring compliance with PSEAH policies and procedures, facilitating reporting mechanisms for incidents.
Engaging with local communities to gather feedback and incorporate their perspectives into project design and execution.
Preparing reports and documentation related to GESI activities and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
