Job Overview: The Workforce Planning and Org Design Consultant will play a crucial role within the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) team at WFP. The consultant will be responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and monitoring of workforce plans and organizational structures at the Country Office level within a specified region. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will serve as the regional technical focal point for Strategic Workforce Planning and Organizational Alignment Reviews, assisting Country Offices in the assigned region. Key responsibilities include conducting workforce analysis using available data and stakeholder inputs, analyzing organizational structures, and developing design options based on workforce planning findings. The consultant will translate analytical insights into practical recommendations for Country Office management and senior stakeholders, support the development of comprehensive workforce plans, and facilitate engagement with various internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the consultant will coordinate the collection and validation of workforce data, monitor the implementation of workforce plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of SWP practices across WFP. The role requires strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented approach to help WFP anticipate and plan for future workforce needs.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with additional relevant experience may be considered. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3 years specifically in Strategic Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, or HR consulting. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, as well as experience working in international environments and multicultural teams.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree in relevant fields such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related disciplines. A first-level university degree may be acceptable if accompanied by significant relevant experience.
