Job Description
Job Posting Organization:
The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT/ESCAP) was inaugurated on 16 June 2006 as a regional institute of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The Centre is located in Incheon, Republic of Korea, and its mission is to strengthen the efforts of member States of ESCAP to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in their socio-economic development through human and institutional capacity-building. The Centre implements programs and activities along three inter-related pillars: Training, Research and Knowledge-Sharing, and Advisory Services. This integrated approach to ICT human capacity development has led to the organization of over 400 conferences and workshops, reaching more than 61,000 participants from over 150 different countries and territories through various events and training initiatives. The Centre emphasizes the sustainability of its work by institutionalizing its programs within national human resource development frameworks, facilitated through partnerships with government ministries, civil service organizations, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.

Experience:
No prior professional work experience is required to apply for this internship. However, candidates should possess relevant training, education, or advanced coursework that aligns with the responsibilities of the internship.
