Job Overview:

The role requires collaboration with senior team members to conduct site investigations, geotechnical engineering, and structural design. The position demands a proactive approach to maintaining schedules for civil engineering activities and supporting the technical and administrative work related to permitting and authorization files. The engineer will also interact with various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination across technical and administrative disciplines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Civil Engineer will undertake specific technical tasks in site investigations, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and planning of civil engineering activities. Responsibilities include contributing to the maintenance of schedules for FCC civil engineering preparatory activities, preparing technical documentation for contracts and services, and supporting the technical and administrative work related to permitting and authorization files. The engineer will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage consultancy and construction contracts, and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Additionally, the role involves data management in civil engineering and adapting to shifting priorities and requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. A strong background in civil and/or geotechnical engineering is essential, particularly with experience in buried and underground structures. Applicants should have experience in preparing technical specifications and managing consultancy and construction contracts for civil engineering design and construction activities. A broad understanding of civil engineering in areas such as buildings, drainage, roads, and buried networks is also required, along with a proven record of data management in the field.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of civil engineering tasks and for effectively contributing to the FCC project.

Experience:
Candidates should have substantial experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering, particularly in managing projects related to buried and underground structures. The position is a limited duration contract for 3 years, with the possibility of extension up to 8 years and eligibility for an indefinite contract tenure.
