Job Overview: The position of Alternant(e) Chargé(e) de Projet Territorial involves providing support to the territorial project manager through various tasks. The candidate will specifically contribute to the implementation and monitoring of project activities, participate in the planning and organization of activities, particularly the operational implementation of access to food mechanisms (such as the Viste market), and assist in monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection and updating project tracking tools. The role also includes developing partnerships and fostering territorial cooperation by organizing and facilitating meetings and working groups, as well as creating relevant tools. The candidate will be involved in context monitoring, literature reviews, and updating the mapping of actors and partners in the intervention area. Additionally, they will contribute to data analysis and the writing of reports and communication/support materials, participate in the analysis of data collected during the project, and assist in drafting capitalization reports for dissemination. Participation in team life, including team meetings and exchanges with the rest of the France Mission, is also expected.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Alternant(e) Chargé(e) de Projet Territorial include:
Contributing to the setup and monitoring of project activities.
Participating in the planning and organization of activities, particularly the operational implementation of access to food mechanisms.
Assisting in monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection and updating project tracking tools.
Developing partnerships and fostering territorial cooperation through organizing and facilitating meetings and working groups.
Conducting context monitoring and literature reviews, as well as updating the mapping of actors and partners in the intervention area.
Contributing to data analysis and writing reports and communication materials.
Participating in the analysis of data collected during the project.
Assisting in drafting capitalization reports for dissemination.
Engaging in team life, including attending team meetings and collaborating with the rest of the France Mission.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should be entering a Master I or II program, preferably in political science, public action, human sciences, social action, or territorial development. They should have developed project management skills and possess knowledge of territorial dynamics, the associative and institutional fabric, and the actors involved in combating poverty in Marseille. The candidate should also be recognized for their writing skills and proficiency in data collection, analysis, and management using Excel. They should be proactive and autonomous, with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities. Additionally, they should have excellent relational and adaptability skills to interact with various partners and stakeholders. Experience in volunteering or associative engagement with people in precarious situations or exile is a plus.
Educational Background: Candidates should have a background in political science, public action, human sciences, social action, or territorial development, ideally at the Master I or II level. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of the role and the context in which Action contre la Faim operates.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have some level of experience in project management, preferably in a related field. While specific years of experience are not mandated, familiarity with the dynamics of territorial cooperation and engagement with vulnerable populations is highly valued. Experience in volunteering or working with associations focused on social issues is considered an asset.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with local partners. Proficiency in English is also beneficial, as it may be required for reporting and communication with international stakeholders. Additional languages relevant to the local context may be advantageous.
Additional Notes: The position is offered as an apprenticeship or professionalization contract for a duration of 12 months. The desired work rhythm is 3 days in the field and 2 days of study. The location of the position is in Marseille. Salary conditions are based on the legal minimum wage, adjusted according to age and level of education, spread over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time), prorated based on presence, and 25 days of paid leave, also prorated. Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% covered by Action contre la Faim. Transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% for travel between home and the workplace. Meal vouchers are partially covered by the organization (60% of an 8-euro value). Additionally, employees receive 175 euros per year for social works and discounts on cinema tickets. The role may involve prolonged sitting, oral communication, screen work, phone contacts, and field travel.
