Job Overview: The E T Consultant position at the World Bank involves a critical role in designing, migrating, and managing enterprise analytics solutions on the ServiceNow Platform Analytics framework. The consultant will be responsible for delivering advanced operational and management reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau. This position requires a strong background in database querying and data modeling to ensure the development of reliable and efficient analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The consultant will lead the adoption of ServiceNow Platform Analytics, design and maintain interactive dashboards, and ensure data accuracy and performance optimization. The role also involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align analytics solutions with enterprise standards and providing production support and documentation for analytics and reporting solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant include leading the adoption and use of ServiceNow Platform Analytics for reports and dashboards, designing, configuring, and maintaining interactive dashboards and visualizations across ITSM areas and custom ServiceNow applications. The consultant will analyze reporting requirements, develop and publish operational and executive-level dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, and ensure data accuracy and performance optimization. Additional responsibilities include writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL for reporting and analytics, designing and maintaining logical and physical database models, collaborating with platform owners and stakeholders, providing production support, and developing necessary documentation such as project plans and user manuals.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong experience in ServiceNow Platform Analytics and enterprise reporting/analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau is essential. Candidates should also have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Platform Analytics workspace, dashboards, and migration concepts, as well as a strong understanding of ServiceNow data models and reporting best practices.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with significant experience in analytics and reporting. A Bachelor's degree is acceptable if accompanied by extensive relevant experience in the field.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience for candidates with a Master's degree or at least 7 years of experience for those with a Bachelor's degree. Candidates should have strong experience in ServiceNow Platform Analytics and enterprise reporting tools, as well as a proven track record of developing reports and dashboards in a professional setting. Experience in database design, data modeling, and analytics across multiple ServiceNow modules is also essential.
Languages: The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered a plus, but English is the primary language of communication within the organization.
