Duties and Responsibilities:
The ICLA Technical Assistant will have a variety of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: adhering to NRC policies and guidelines; assisting in the implementation of legal and civil identity activities, HLP activities, and CDR activities; preparing and developing status reports as required; ensuring proper filing of documents; promoting ideas for improvement; engaging with communities and leaders to ensure accountability; breaking down annual operational plans into weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans; assisting officers with procurement and distribution processes; promoting the rights of IDPs and returnees; documenting project achievements and deliverables; contributing to the development of training materials; engaging in community mobilization; providing updates for the monitoring and evaluation system; integrating gender and protection priorities into project implementation; and performing any other relevant tasks as requested by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the ICLA Technical Assistant position must possess a University Degree in Law or Social Sciences from a recognized Nigerian university. A thorough knowledge of Nigerian law, particularly in the context of displacement, is essential. Additionally, candidates should have work experience in the field of law, such as in courts, legal aid agencies, or humanitarian protection, with a preference for those who have worked with displaced populations.
