Job Overview:
The ET Consultant position within the Upstream and Advisory team in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region focuses on sectors such as Manufacturing, Agribusiness, Forestry, Health, Education, Tourism, Retail, and Property. The role emphasizes critical themes such as decarbonization, resource efficiency, value addition to supply chains, and digitalization. The consultant will be expected to support business development, manage pipelines, and execute transactions while providing in-depth research and analysis on relevant sectors and markets. This includes market mapping, financial projections, and identifying opportunities for decarbonization and digitalization. The consultant will also be responsible for data extraction, manipulation, and presentation, as well as preparing documentation for external presentations and internal processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ET Consultant include supporting business development efforts, managing transaction pipelines, and executing transactions. The consultant will conduct research and analysis on relevant sectors, markets, and companies, which involves market mapping, comparator analysis, and financial modeling. They will extract and manipulate data from various databases, present findings to different audiences, and maintain relevant information in databases. Additionally, the consultant will review and prepare documents and reports, as well as create materials for external presentations to clients and partners. The role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and a demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and analytically.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial institutions, consulting, or relevant sectors such as manufacturing, health, education, agribusiness, real estate, or tourism is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory, with proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Candidates should have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience in project development and stakeholder management. A proven ability to monitor and report on projects, as well as strong organizational skills, is essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Science, or Engineering. This foundational education is critical for understanding the complexities of the sectors the consultant will be working in, as well as for performing the analytical tasks required in the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, which can be gained through work in financial institutions, consulting firms, or companies involved in sectors such as manufacturing, health, education, agribusiness, real estate, or tourism. This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to engage with complex projects and contribute to business development and transaction execution.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication. Additionally, proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred, as the role involves working in the Latin America and Caribbean region where these languages are commonly spoken.
