Job Overview:
The E T Consultant position is integral to the World Bank Group's mission of leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. This role focuses on designing, migrating, and managing enterprise analytics solutions specifically on the ServiceNow Platform Analytics framework. The consultant will be responsible for delivering advanced operational and management reports utilizing tools such as Power BI and Tableau. The position requires a strong foundation in database querying and data modeling to ensure the development of reliable and efficient analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The consultant will lead the adoption of ServiceNow Platform Analytics, ensuring that the organization can effectively utilize data for strategic insights and operational improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant include leading the adoption and use of ServiceNow Platform Analytics for reports and dashboards, which involves migrating from legacy reporting frameworks. The consultant will design, configure, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations across the ITSM area and custom ServiceNow applications. They will analyze reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions, developing and publishing operational and executive-level dashboards using Power BI and Tableau. Ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and the reuse of analytics components across platforms is crucial. The consultant will write, optimize, and maintain SQL to support reporting, analytics, and data validation needs, as well as design and maintain logical and physical database models to support reporting and analytics use cases. Collaboration with platform owners, developers, data teams, and stakeholders is essential to align analytics solutions with enterprise standards and platform roadmaps. Additionally, the consultant will provide production support, documentation, and knowledge transfer for analytics and reporting solutions, and perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow Platform dashboards, Power BI, and Tableau dashboards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, particularly in the IT field. Strong experience in ServiceNow Platform Analytics and enterprise reporting/analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau is required. The consultant should have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Platform Analytics workspace, dashboards, visualizations, and migration concepts, as well as experience in developing reports on Incident, Change, Problem, and Catalog tasks. A strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, tables, and reporting best practices is essential, along with experience supporting analytics across multiple ServiceNow modules and custom applications. The consultant should also have a good understanding of data transformation from multiple sources and proven expertise in Power BI data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and interactive dashboard design.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline. The educational qualifications should be complemented by practical experience in analytics and reporting, particularly within the context of enterprise systems and data management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in analytics and reporting, particularly with ServiceNow and enterprise reporting tools. Candidates with a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their capability to fulfill the role's responsibilities will also be considered. Experience in a similar role within a large organization or international context is highly desirable, as it indicates familiarity with the complexities of global operations and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, which is essential for communication within the organization and with stakeholders. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if they align with the regions in which the World Bank operates, enhancing the consultant's ability to engage with a broader range of clients and partners.
