Job Overview: The Donor Care Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the Donor Care team by delivering exceptional service to donors and fostering long-term relationships. The intern will assist with various tasks, including responding to donor inquiries, processing donations, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. Additionally, the intern will support acknowledgment and stewardship activities, which are essential for building trust and loyalty among donors. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Email Fundraising: Assisting the digital team in stewarding donors and supporters, which includes preparing and sending emails to engage and inform them.
Creative Support: Collaborating with the team to develop new creative content for digital ads, direct mail, and television campaigns. The intern will also help write campaign briefs to share with existing agencies.
Analytics and Reporting: Assisting with the research and analysis of data related to all fundraising and marketing efforts. This includes pulling information from various sources to report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication materials.
Market Research: Conducting research on current market trends and scoping new vendors for the donor acquisition program. The intern will present ongoing learnings and recommendations to the team.
Administration: Providing general administrative support and completing other tasks as requested by the team.
Learning and Development: Actively participating in training sessions, team meetings, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications: The minimum qualifications required for this position include:
A university degree or college degree in progress (completed at least 2 years of study) or completed within the last 24 months. A degree in Communications, Marketing, or International Development is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and producing high-quality work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective donor engagement and collaboration with team members.
The ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines is crucial in a fast-paced environment.
