Job Overview:
The Team Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Reimbursable Advisory Services (RAS) program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based in the World Bank Group Regional Hub in Riyadh. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the office and the successful execution of projects. The Team Assistant will be responsible for ensuring quality control of documents, assisting in the drafting and formatting of correspondence, coordinating schedules, and organizing meetings and events. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Team Assistant will also support Task Team Leaders (TTLs) with logistical arrangements for missions and maintain up-to-date project files and contact lists. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Team Assistant's duties include providing quality control for internal and external documents, reviewing documents for accuracy, assisting in drafting and editing correspondence, coordinating schedules, and managing changes in communication. The role also involves organizing meetings, workshops, and conferences, including handling logistics, preparing materials, and following up with participants. The Team Assistant will coordinate travel requests for consultants, assist with mission agendas, maintain distribution lists, and manage logistics for visiting missions. Additionally, the Team Assistant will generate reports as needed and assist with various administrative and operational matters within the MAPSA Department, while also backing up colleagues when necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and have 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with the World Bank's policies and procedures is advantageous, as is the ability to adapt to new solutions and demonstrate a client-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with a collaborative mindset and respect for diverse perspectives.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement for this position. Candidates with degrees in fields related to administration, business, or international relations may be preferred, as these areas of study provide relevant knowledge and skills for the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in administrative support or office management. Experience working in an international organization or a similar environment is highly desirable, as it provides insight into the complexities of global operations and the specific needs of the World Bank Group.

Languages:
Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position, as these languages are essential for effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
