Job Overview: The FSL coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Technical Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Deputy CountryDirector for Programmes, playing a crucial role in developing, scaling up, and ensuring the quality and relevance of the Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) strategy and programmes in Yemen. This position requires a strategic mindset to contribute to defining the country strategy and positioning of the FSL technical department. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating needs assessments and analyses, designing project proposals, and technically overseeing the implementation of various programmes and projects. Ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of FSL interventions at the country level is paramount. The role also involves active participation in national sectoral coordination and technical forums, fostering sectoral partnerships, and managing a team that includes one FSL Program Manager and a team of FSL supervisors and monitors. The position emphasizes the importance of promoting capitalization, technical development, and research within the FSL Department, making it a vital role in the organization's mission to combat hunger in Yemen.
Duties and Responsibilities: The FSL Technical Coordinator will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Coordinating needs assessments and analyses to identify gaps and opportunities in the FSL sector, leading to the design of effective project proposals.

Additional Notes: The FSL Technical Coordinator position is open to both national and international applications. For national applicants, the basic salary ranges from USD 2,803 to 3,349 per month, depending on experience, along with a transportation allowance of USD 120 per month and an Eid bonus equivalent to one full month of basic salary per year. National employees are entitled to 2.5 days of annual leave per month and medical insurance coverage for themselves and up to six dependents. For international applicants, the position offers a fixed-term contract under French legislation for eight months, with a monthly gross salary ranging from 2,597 to 2,968 euros, including a 13th month payment. International employees also receive a reimbursement of pension insurance for non-French citizens, a monthly per diem and living allowance of $730 net, and a country allowance of 450 euros. Additional benefits include child allowances, transportation and accommodation coverage, and comprehensive medical coverage. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 rest and recuperation (RnR) days, and airfare reimbursement for RnR travel, along with financial support for each RnR period. The role may involve field trips to locations such as Al Khawakha and Tur Al Bahah.
