Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The ICLA Coordinator will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including adherence to NRC policies and procedures, contributing to the development of country and ICLA strategies, and providing technical support for the implementation of new systems. The Coordinator will be responsible for training and capacity building of the Plateau State Ministry of Lands, ensuring that feedback from field operations is captured and utilized. Regular progress reports will be provided to the ICLA specialist, and the Coordinator will supervise consultants to ensure quality implementation of projects. The role also involves ensuring that projects target beneficiaries in need of protection, exploring innovative ways to assist, and promoting ideas for improvement. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in housing, land, and property (HLP) issues and local dispute resolution systems in Nigeria, along with strong reporting and analytical skills.
