The position of Expert on regulatory incentives and de-risking solutions is designed to support the development of recommendations aimed at enhancing green finance in the Kyrgyz Republic. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current regulatory framework related to green finance in Kyrgyzstan.
  • Analyze international best practices in regulatory incentives and de-risking solutions for green finance.
  • Develop practical recommendations tailored to the national context of Kyrgyzstan.
  • Create business cases that demonstrate the viability and benefits of green lending.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to gather insights and validate recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise throughout the implementation phase of the recommendations.
  • Engage in capacity-building activities to enhance the understanding of green finance among local stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in regulatory analysis and development, particularly in the context of green finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with the financial sector in Kyrgyzstan and the challenges related to green finance.
  • Experience working with international organizations or development agencies is an advantage.

Educational Background:
Candidates are required to have an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in finance, economics, environmental science, or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the expert has the necessary theoretical knowledge and analytical skills to effectively assess and develop regulatory incentives and de-risking solutions for green finance.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience in regulatory analysis and development, particularly in the area of green finance. Languages:
