Job Overview:
The position of Asistente de Programas at WFP involves supporting operational activities within the organization, specifically in the context of humanitarian assistance and development programs. Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Asistente de Programas include: gathering and organizing information for document preparation and reporting; responding to inquiries and directing them to appropriate levels when necessary; supporting the processing and management of routine administrative and financial tasks; reviewing and correcting standard documents to ensure accuracy; maintaining established systems and files to guarantee information is precise and accessible; identifying discrepancies in statistics and data and communicating them to senior officials; ensuring data integrity for accurate information availability; providing guidance on standard operational support methods to less experienced colleagues; collaborating with various stakeholders to gather feedback for operational support; and performing additional tasks as requested by the supervisor that align with the role's objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with a preference for those holding a post-secondary degree in administrative, accounting, social sciences, agricultural, or related fields. A minimum of four years of relevant experience in operational areas related to programmatic functions is required, with a strong emphasis on general administrative tasks. Experience in humanitarian assistance programs or development projects is highly valued, particularly in contexts involving vulnerable populations, ethnic groups, and gender-based violence. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with web-based systems and corporate platforms are essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes the completion of secondary education, with a desirable post-secondary qualification in fields such as administration, accounting, social sciences, agriculture, or other areas relevant to the job functions. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the operational and administrative tasks associated with the role.

Experience:
The Asistente de Programas position requires a minimum of four years of experience in relevant operational areas. The contract duration for this position is until October 30, 2026, under a Special Services Agreement (SSA) at Level L
