Job Overview:
The position of Asistente Técnico ICLA is crucial for the implementation of the Information, Orientation, and Legal Assistance component of NRC's programmatic strategy. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Asistente Técnico ICLA will be responsible for ensuring adherence to NRC's policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines. Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the ICLA project portfolio according to the action plan, developing and maintaining knowledge of ICLA competencies in the operational territory, and organizing and executing tasks based on priorities and standards. The role involves preparing reports for management, managing information securely in compliance with data protection standards, and promoting ideas to strengthen support functions. Specific duties include providing inputs for legal strategy design, implementing information and legal assistance activities, fostering community participation during humanitarian emergencies, conducting rapid needs assessments, and coordinating with institutional entities for comprehensive responses. The Asistente Técnico ICLA will also document and follow up on cases, conduct legal assistance activities, and facilitate training for public officials and other organizations to enhance institutional response capacity. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate records and databases, analyzing context-related vulnerabilities, and promoting community integration activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess technical studies or be in the final semesters of a university degree in Law. A minimum of one year of experience as a Technical Assistant in humanitarian contexts is required, along with knowledge of Colombian state structure and international law. Experience in complex and changing environments is essential, as well as basic proficiency in English. Candidates should have experience in defending the rights of refugees, providing legal assistance, and using Office software and databases. Knowledge of international and national protection laws, strategic litigation, and human rights is highly valued. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for managing information and preparing reports, along with the ability to travel as needed.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes technical studies or a university degree in Law, preferably with candidates being in their final semesters or recent graduates. Experience:
