Job Overview:
The Field Assistant position is a critical role within UNHCR, primarily focused on supporting field activities in Chokwe, Gaza Province, Mozambique. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Field Assistant include assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and supporting authorized personnel during field missions. The incumbent will act as an interpreter for routine information exchanges and contribute to liaison activities, responding to queries as needed. Regular contact with local authorities and implementing partners is essential, as is the coordination of reception, registration, and assistance to persons of concern. The Field Assistant will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks, ensuring that decision-making is informed by the functional area of work. Required Qualifications:
