Job Overview:
The Implementation Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Department of Nuclear Energy by managing administrative arrangements related to various programs. This position involves processing administrative actions related to the recruitment of experts and participants for training courses and meetings. The Implementation Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all actions and tasks, such as training events and technical meetings, are executed in accordance with established policies and quality standards. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team of professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Implementation Assistant's duties include arranging travel for staff and non-staff, coordinating activities for training courses and meetings, and managing administrative tasks related to recruitment. Specific responsibilities involve scheduling and implementing meetings, processing recruitment actions, maintaining databases, and providing statistical data on training participation. The assistant will also act as a focal point for coordinating activities and ensuring quality control on travel documents. Additionally, the Implementation Assistant will provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have a minimum of five years of general office support experience, preferably in an international organization. Knowledge of administrative procedures related to IAEA meetings is highly desirable. The role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications. Familiarity with IAEA's corporate systems is an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory, and knowledge of other official IAEA languages is advantageous.

Educational Background:
A high school diploma is the minimum educational requirement for this position. Additional qualifications or certifications in administrative support or project management may be beneficial but are not explicitly required.

Experience:
The Implementation Assistant should have at least five years of general office support experience, with some experience in an international organization being preferred. This experience should include familiarity with administrative procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's application.
