Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's responsibilities will include monitoring global developments relevant to HRW's advocacy work, assisting in the preparation of materials to support advocacy efforts, and contributing to the planning, organization, and evaluation of events. The intern will participate in briefings with decision-makers and key stakeholders, support the fundraising team by researching potential income sources such as foundations and corporate partners, and help disseminate HRW's research and recommendations through targeted communications. Additionally, the intern will assist in developing content for HRW Sweden's digital channels, including social media, newsletters, and the organization's website. Specific tasks may vary based on the intern's interests and abilities, allowing for a tailored experience that aligns with their career goals.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled university students for the entire duration of the internship. Preferred coursework includes communications, media, political science, law, or human rights, although other academic backgrounds will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, creative, curious, flexible, and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills and a strong willingness to learn. Experience in team collaboration is desirable, and candidates should have a demonstrated interest in human rights, communication, social media, and/or fundraising. Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Word and Excel, is highly valuable.
