Job Overview:
The Campaign Director plays a pivotal leadership role within Global Resource Engagement and Mobilization (G-REM) at CRS. This position is primarily responsible for facilitating the implementation of fundraising campaigns and special philanthropic initiatives that align with CRS's strategic priorities. The Campaign Director will work closely with various stakeholders, including CRS board members and volunteers, to emphasize the significance of philanthropy and foster a unified agency culture. The role involves overseeing the assessment, development, and execution of comprehensive fundraising campaigns, ensuring that funds raised are utilized according to donor intent while providing effective stewardship to donors and the CRS Board. The Director will also support fundraising efforts for strategic agency priorities, employing engagement strategies that enhance donor affinity and develop pipelines for future campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Campaign Director will lead the design and implementation of integrated fundraising campaign planning, aimed at expanding and strengthening relationships with all donors to maximize future resources. This includes conducting detailed reviews of lessons learned from previous campaigns and involving staff from across the agency, as well as the Board of Directors and Campaign Steering Committee. The Director will develop campaign plans that align with the agency's strategic priorities, including schedules and activities for marketing, communications, and events. They will act as the lead campaign strategist, collaborating with the board engagement and giving team to create a multi-channel calendar of donor events designed to inform, engage, and inspire CRS donors. Additionally, the Director will work with Analytics colleagues to evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI), ensuring that all campaign-related activities are results-driven and aligned with G-REM’s Action Plan.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and have a minimum of 8 years of fundraising experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in directing complex, high-profile events. Documented experience in developing and implementing integrated digital marketing, communication, and content/event plans is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, as well as an understanding of the Catholic Church and its teachings. Candidates should have broad knowledge of fundraising campaigns and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings as a leader, participant, and facilitator.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for this position. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of the complexities involved in fundraising and campaign management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of fundraising experience and at least 10 years of experience in directing the execution of complex, high-profile events. This extensive experience is crucial for effectively managing the various aspects of fundraising campaigns and ensuring successful outcomes.

Languages:
English is the mandatory language for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders and donors.

The position is based in Baltimore, and candidates must be willing to travel up to 10%.
