Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is designed to support the national outreach efforts for the International Year of the Volunteer (IVY) 2026, as recognized by the United Nations General Assembly. Volunteers will work under the guidance of the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program. The primary function of this role is to raise public awareness about the Department of Social Development and Welfare (DSDW) Platform, which allows individuals to register as formal volunteers in Thailand and document their volunteering activities. Volunteers will engage in peer-to-peer digital outreach, utilizing social media to promote the IVY 2026 initiative and encourage others to participate in volunteering. This role is crucial in amplifying the message of volunteerism and its impact on sustainable development, as well as fostering a culture of community engagement and social responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Online Volunteers will have several key responsibilities, including:

• Sharing approved campaign materials such as graphics, flyers, videos, captions, and key messages on their personal social media platforms to promote IVY 2026 and the DSDW Platform.
• Encouraging peers, networks, and organizations to submit their volunteering activities through LINE or a Google Form.
• Maintaining an expected posting frequency of approximately 2-3 posts per week to ensure consistent outreach.
• Tracking and reporting basic engagement metrics, including likes, shares, comments, and clicks, on a weekly basis using a shared Google Sheet.
• Adhering to all posting, reporting, and branding guidelines provided by the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and UNV.
• Participating in a mandatory online orientation session at the start of their assignment to familiarize themselves with the campaign objectives and expectations. All necessary campaign materials, posting templates, visual assets, guidance notes, and reporting tools will be provided to the volunteers.
