Job Overview: The Accountant position is crucial for the successful implementation of the STRengthening Infectious Disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) project in Malawi, which aims to enhance global healthsecurity" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security. The Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions, including recording, classifying, examining, and analyzing financial transactions. This role involves reviewing and consolidating financial reports on a monthly basis, processing journal entries, managing cash receipts, and overseeing field cash management and wire payments. The Accountant will also respond to inquiries, assist in training, maintain general ledger accounts, support sub-ledgers, and produce various accounting reports.
