Job Overview:
The Regular Giving Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) division of WFP, which is responsible for mobilizing resources from the private sector to support WFP’s global mission. This position is pivotal in enhancing donor retention and loyalty through strategic engagement initiatives. The coordinator will focus on developing and implementing donor retention strategies, ensuring that the connection between supporters and WFP’s mission is strengthened. The role involves managing multi-channel donor journeys, coordinating telemarketing operations, and overseeing email marketing efforts. The Regular Giving Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and reporting on donor engagement levels, thereby contributing to the overall success of WFP’s fundraising efforts. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regular Giving Coordinator will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
  • Developing and implementing donor retention strategies to enhance donor loyalty and value through a coordinated, multi-channel approach.
  • Coordinating day-to-day telemarketing operations, including data management, campaign execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Managing multi-lingual donor journeys across various channels such as email, SMS, and WhatsApp, ensuring content is relevant and engaging.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing content related to regular giving, including appeals, thank you emails, and impact reports.
  • Conducting A/B tests to optimize marketing strategies and improve donor engagement.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics related to donor retention and engagement.
  • Providing administrative support for retention-focused campaigns, including scheduling meetings and preparing necessary documents.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and action plans.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM and project management systems such as Salesforce, Asana, or Tableau is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving is also necessary. Candidates should be team-oriented and contribute positively to an inclusive work environment.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding marketing principles, donor relations, and effective communication strategies essential for the role.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in fundraising, donor retention, marketing, or donor relations. Experience working on non-profit regular giving programs is highly desirable, as it equips candidates with the necessary skills and insights to effectively manage donor engagement and retention strategies.

Languages:
Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory, with a proficiency level of C. Additional proficiency in one or more of the following languages is desirable: French, Arabic, Spanish, or German. This multilingual capability is essential for engaging with a diverse donor base and enhancing the overall supporter experience.

The position is a short-term contract for 11 months, classified as a Regular Consultant (CST 1). It offers the flexibility of being based in Rome, Italy, or working remotely.
