Job Overview:
The position of Limited-Term Program Officer (PO) within the Health Innovation & Partnership (HIP) team is a 24-month role focused on innovation scouting and industrial engagement across health innovation portfolios. The role is crucial in leveraging China's industrial ecosystem to advance the foundation's priorities, which extend beyond disease-specific product development to include self-care solutions, long-acting drug formulations, and low-cost manufacturing approaches relevant to low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). The Program Officer will conduct industry analyses, identify strategic partnership opportunities, support the design and implementation of new initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors. This position is integral to the foundation's mission of improving health and well-being both in China and globally, and it reports directly to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Health, Innovation & Partnership at the China Country Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Limited-Term Program Officer include conducting industrial and market landscape analyses to identify opportunities that align with the foundation's priorities across various health sectors such as diagnostics, vaccines, drugs, nutrition, and vector control. The officer will support engagement with domestic biopharmaceutical companies, suppliers, and industry influencers, contributing to advocacy and coalition-building efforts, including organizing CEO roundtables. Additionally, the officer will work with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop and execute implementation plans for approved strategy initiatives, track progress, and report on outcomes. The role also involves providing analytical and coordination support to multiple program and functional team members with diverse expertise and backgrounds.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience. Programmatic experience in sexual and reproductive health, particularly in family planning, is essential. Experience in international public health or related fields, whether through lived experience or support to country or regional offices, is also required. A strong background in data analysis or statistical analysis, along with spatial/GIS analysis skills, is necessary. Candidates should have experience with research methodologies and managing complex projects across various teams. Strong quantitative analysis skills, as well as analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills for engaging with a broad and diverse audience, are critical. Knowledge of project management is also important.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated experience. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of public health, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and innovation in health solutions.

Experience:
