Job Overview: As an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Specialist at the EIB, you will be integral to protecting the bank's operational technology environments. This includes safeguarding critical systems such as HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), and industrial control systems that are essential for the bank's Corporate Real Estate assets. Your primary mission will be to ensure the resilience and security of these systems against evolving cyber threats. You will report to the Head of the Building Technology Unit and collaborate with various internal teams to design, build, and support the operational run of building systems and their related infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies that align with the EIB Group's security framework and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing the OT/IoT cybersecurity strategy in collaboration with external providers, maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all OT and IoT assets, and developing cybersecurity procedures. You will conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and support the implementation of mitigation measures. Additionally, you will manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) for OT/IoT systems, oversee daily cybersecurity operations, and coordinate project plans to enhance cyber resilience capabilities. You will also evaluate new building automation technologies to ensure they meet cybersecurity requirements and support secure communication protocols.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree (minimum equivalent to a Bachelor) in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity is required, ideally in structured or regulated environments. Experience in developing OT/IoT cybersecurity strategies and hands-on experience with OT/IoT infrastructure is essential. Proven knowledge of OT/IoT technologies and connectivity protocols is also necessary, along with the ability to draft and document policies and procedures.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant STEM field. This foundational knowledge is critical for understanding the complexities of cybersecurity within operational technology environments and for effectively addressing the challenges associated with safeguarding these systems.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in structured or regulated environments. This experience should include developing cybersecurity strategies and designing architectures for OT/IoT systems, as well as hands-on experience with the infrastructure that supports these technologies.
Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory, and a good command of French is also required. Knowledge of other EU languages would be considered an advantage. The EIB emphasizes the importance of language skills for career development within the organization, and candidates should be prepared to meet language proficiency requirements as part of their contract.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time position at grade 5, offering a permanent contract. The EIB provides relocation support for candidates moving to Luxembourg. Panel interviews are anticipated for April/May 202
