Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Executive Support Assistant include: providing secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the UNHCR office; managing the supervisor's calendar and arranging appointments; receiving visitors and screening calls; organizing internal and external meetings, including those with high-ranking officials, and taking minutes; drafting and managing correspondence and reports, some of which may be confidential; maintaining an organized filing system for documents; assisting with human resources tasks such as travel arrangements and attendance records; preparing briefing materials for meetings and visits; identifying and managing risks related to the role; and performing other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma with at least two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience. Essential qualifications include proficiency in IT and computer literacy, familiarity with UN administrative rules and procedures, and strong drafting and documentation skills. The candidate should also demonstrate a client-oriented approach, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
