Job Overview: The position of Consultor de Contenido y Tendencias involves conducting research on content and trends to ensure that the products developed include added brand value. The consultant will have access to internal portals and will need to liaise with responsible individuals and information sources. The role requires writing materials for all channels with a persuasive, creative, and segmented approach. Additionally, the consultant will manage content through planning and scheduling the development of materials with a multichannel focus. The optimization of content will be achieved through measuring materials and actively seeking insights from teams. The consultant will also manage images and videos for all channels, conceptualize and creatively develop content for campaigns or activations, and work in coordination with all PFP channels.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be responsible for delivering a variety of products, including thematic briefs, campaign briefs, two-pagers, landing content, partner reports, emails, WhatsApp messages, newsletters, web notes, press releases, event minute-by-minute descriptions, social media copies and ads, campaign manifestos, FAQs, pitch cards, talking points, thematic presentations, video scripts, videos for social media, and static assets for social media. Each product has specific requirements and deadlines, with payments made upon satisfactory delivery. The consultant must ensure that all products are delivered electronically with a scanned signature and sent to the service supervisor. The contract is all-inclusive, meaning that any unforeseen expenses required for the service will be fully covered by the hired professional.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a professional background in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or related fields. They should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in writing and content creation, with demonstrable experience in video editing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. Excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of the social issues addressed by UNICEF are essential, along with a genuine passion for contributing to these causes. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
Educational Background: A degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or related fields is required. Additional qualifications such as postgraduate studies in related areas will be considered an asset. Candidates must provide documentation to support their educational background, which may be verified by UNICEF.
Experience: The position requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in content writing and creation, including video editing. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be preferred, particularly those who can demonstrate a diverse portfolio of work across various formats.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, given the location and target audience. Knowledge of English or other languages may be considered an asset but is not required for this position.
Additional Notes: This consultancy is open only to Peruvian nationals residing in Peru at the time of application and throughout the duration of the contract. Only applications meeting these criteria will be considered. The contract will be all-inclusive, covering all unforeseen expenses required for the service. Payments will be made in local currency (Soles) within 30 days of product approval and receipt of the invoice. The consultant must complete specific mandatory courses through UNICEF's AGORA platform prior to signing the contract.
