Job Overview:
The position of Local Consultant for Feasibility Analysis for iVerify Implementation involves conducting a thorough feasibility study to assess the viability of implementing the iVerify system. The consultant will be expected to engage with stakeholders, gather data, and provide insights that will inform decision-making processes. The assignment is set to take place from February 18, 2026, to April 17, 2026, and the consultant will need to submit proposals directly through the UNDP's supplier portal. The consultant's findings will play a crucial role in determining the next steps for the iVerify project, which aims to enhance verification processes in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Local Consultant include but are not limited to: conducting a comprehensive feasibility analysis of the iVerify implementation; engaging with relevant stakeholders to gather insights and data; assessing the technical requirements and operational implications of the project; evaluating financial aspects and potential funding sources; preparing detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings; providing recommendations based on the analysis; ensuring compliance with UNDP guidelines and standards; and facilitating discussions with stakeholders to validate findings and recommendations. The consultant will also be responsible for submitting all deliverables on time and maintaining communication with the UNDP procurement team throughout the assignment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in project management, feasibility studies, or related fields. A proven track record of conducting similar analyses for international organizations or government agencies is essential. The consultant should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, the ability to synthesize complex information, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Familiarity with the iVerify system or similar verification technologies will be considered an asset. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of the socio-political context of Kosovo and the region.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, public administration, international relations, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant area will be considered an advantage. The educational background should reflect a strong foundation in analytical and research methodologies, as well as project management principles.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience in conducting feasibility studies, project evaluations, or similar roles. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in the context of development projects, is highly desirable. The consultant should also have experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Kosovo will be considered an asset, as it may facilitate better communication with local stakeholders.
