Job Overview: The MarketingFundraising Assistant position at UNICEF Chile is designed to enhance the internal marketing and content production capabilities within the Private Fundraising (PFP) area. This role is crucial in responding to the increasing complexity of the humanitarian environment and the growing demand for high-quality content in fundraising campaigns. The assistant will work under the supervision of the Marketing Services Officer (NOA) and will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and ensuring the quality of graphic and audiovisual content that supports PFP Chile’s communication and fundraising strategies. The position aims to improve donor retention, acquire new prospects, and streamline processes across the PFP marketing and communications value chain, ultimately contributing to UNICEF's financial sustainability and mission to support children's rights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and production of marketing and fundraising content by providing technical and operational support in developing and producing graphic and audiovisual content for fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
Coordinate and manage relationships with agencies and vendors, optimizing workflows and deliverable quality, preparing briefs, and conducting operational follow-ups.
Ensure the integration of marketing messages and calls to action in various communication assets, working closely with different teams to maintain message coherence.
Assist in the production of audiovisual materials involving donors and partners, ensuring message consistency and alignment with fundraising objectives.
Perform other related functions as assigned, in line with UNICEF guidelines.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have completed secondary education, ideally complemented by additional training or university-level courses in management, marketing, sales, communications, or related fields. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in sales, advertising, marketing, communications, or fundraising is required, with experience in team coordination or supervisory roles being an asset. A bachelor’s degree may compensate for three years of experience, while a master’s degree may compensate for an additional two years, totaling five years of experience.
Educational Background: The position requires completed secondary education, with additional training or university-level courses in relevant fields such as management, marketing, sales, or communications being ideal. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for three years of required experience, while a master’s degree may substitute for an additional two years of experience.
